Belen Bohorquez, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Associate specializing in medical and surgical dermatology. She brings a strong clinical focus on skin cancer detection and treatment, with particular expertise in identifying early-stage melanomas and performing precise surgical closures.

Belen earned her Master of Physician Associate Studies from Franklin Pierce University. She is a proud graduate of the FSDPA Derm Foundations Program and a Johnson & Johnson Scholar, reflecting her ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and continued education in dermatologic care. She is also a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Associates.

Belen treats a wide range of skin conditions and is dedicated to creating personalized, patient-centered treatment plans. Her approach combines sound medical knowledge with a warm, compassionate bedside manner, ensuring each patient receives thoughtful and attentive care.

Originally from Ecuador, Belen is fluent in both English and Spanish. She takes pride in connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds and is known for making clinical visits comfortable and reassuring — often bringing laughter and lightness into the room, even during more serious conversations.

Outside of the clinic, Belen enjoys scuba diving and international travel. She brings the same sense of curiosity and dedication to her personal life as she does to her patients. Her guiding philosophy is simple: “I treat every patient as I would my own family.”
