Kenneth Wallace III, MD

Dr. Kenneth Wallace III, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and skilled Mohs surgeon at Michael J. Freeman, MD, PA – DocFreeman Dermatology in Ocala, Florida. Renowned for his individualized approach to care, Dr. Wallace prioritizes establishing a rapport with his patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey.

A Michigan native, Dr. Wallace graduated with a dual degree in health sciences and religion from Kalamazoo College and went on to receive his medical degree from Wayne State University. He honed his expertise during a general surgical internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center and an emergency medicine residency at Wayne State University. His medical training culminated with a dermatology and Mohs surgery fellowship in Georgia.

With over twenty years of clinical experience in the U.S. and Italy, Dr. Wallace has also contributed to the medical community as an associate clinical professor at Florida State University College of Medicine. He is committed to lifelong learning and actively participates in continuing education to stay abreast of dermatological innovations.

Dr. Wallace’s contributions extend beyond patient care; he has served in leadership roles for the American Board of Physician Specialists and was honored as Physician of the Year in 2010. He is also an accomplished author, simplifying complex medical subjects in textbooks and e-books for broader accessibility.

In his leisure, Dr. Wallace is an avid water-skier and enjoys the outdoors, medical research, and writing. He is currently welcoming new patients at Michael J. Freeman, MD, PA – DocFreeman Dermatology where he continues to provide exceptional dermatological care.
